Somewhere Else is a story about a little girl who finds herself in the middle of a war. When we look at dreadfulness of the war through a child’s eyes, we better understand war’s disproportion and how each person is defenseless. Thus, to tell dreadfulness of the war to the youth who will form tomorrow’s world is really important. This play succeeds it with a pedagogic perfection. Stage design is out of the ordinary for a theater. The environment of war victim child is created by a puppeteer. While artist is drawing the details in the story and the soldiers approaching the city quickly, video projector focuses the audience on the story telling on-going war. Who knows, maybe all of this is not happening so far?
