Our Iranian guest Shadow Theater Company's performances consist of two different stories. The first story is about the seasons. Nane Sarma is a very old woman who lives in the cold season. Amou Nowruz, also known as Baba Nowruz, is a fictional figure in Iranian folklore. According to folklore, he is an old man who brought spring, pointing to the arrival of spring each year and the beginning of the Iranian New Year. These lovely two old people can never see each other because Nane Sarma falls asleep before spring comes. One year, Nane Sarma decides not to sleep and to see spring. The second story is about a little boy. Kocholo is a mischievous child who wants to make his mother happy with the gift he bought, but he has been confused since he wanted to make her happy in the most sincere way. He wants to give her mother the best gift; a book! Or an exciting gift package! Kocholo is still unsure about it. Kocholo then embarks on an adventure for this gift and many things will happen to him in this adventure.
