Pellegrino Artusi, born in Forlimpopoli, 1820, researched Italy’s traditional dishes and their local variations with his friend, Marietta. He tried some recipes. Then he published these recipes in his book ‘’Science in the kitchen and art of eating well’’. This book is accepted as the best work which explains Italian eating culture. These recipes are used proudly in many restaurants in Italy. Pellegrino Artusi’s genius is narrated via his loyal assistant Marietta’s loving eyes. Shuttling between dream and reality, with pots, pans, fruit and vegetables, Italy’s musical wealth, Rossini, Verdi, and Puccini shape the performance.  Veronica Gonzales’ new performance, staged with the cooperation of Casa Artusi and Emilia Romagna region, combines the perfection of the arts of music, poetry, rhythm, elegancy, and gastronomy.
